I can see through to your very soul! What I love about this post....this idea of imitation...is that you have the courage to share it so candidly. And with that right there (honesty...clarity) comes ministry to the reader. That may not have been your intent, but gurlfrend, this has provoked my heart so deeply. I agree with what you have expressed....and I am drawn immediately to Ephesians 5..."Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;..." To be "imitators" of God means to break off the shackles of comparison living and live the life of the Creator as our own life. And we know He, as the author of all the "originals" in this world, has infinite creativity. Just like our fingerprints and DNA cannot be replicated....neither can our innermost be replicated. He has put His stamp of "original" on each of us.
