Check out Pioneer Woman's blog- she had a pie week a few weeks ago. She has a visual recipe index and I believe pies are a category.

ReplyDeleteTodd's favorite pie is my Frozen Pumpkin Pie.
ReplyDeleteIngredients: 1 1/2Cup crushed gingersnap cookies, 1TBL sugar, 1/4Cup melted butter, 1Cup pumpkin puree, 1Cup sugar, 1/2tsp salt, 1/2tsp ground ginger, 1/2tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4tsp nutmeg, 2Cups whipped topping, 2Cups vanilla ice cream (best if blue bell)
-Preheat oven to 300.
- Mix gingersnaps & 1TBL sugar. Stir in melted butter. Press mixture evenly into a 9" pie plate. Bake 15min.
-In medium bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, ginger, cinnamon, & nutmeg. Stir until mixed. Fold in whipped topping.
-Spread ice cream in an even layer in bottom of the cooled crust
-Pour pumpkin mixture over ice cream
- Freeze at least 2hrs before serving.
-Garnish w/ whipped topping & crushed gingersnaps.
IT'S SUPER GOOD!
